Sligo Town Christmas Light Switch On 2026

 

It’s fast approaching that time of year for the twinkly lights across Sligo town to be switched on. This year Santa and his elves and the Little Blue Heroes will be coming to switch on the lights on Sunday 29th November at 6pm on O’Connell Street. Families are invited to come and enjoy some festive fun. From 5pm, there will be barbershop quartet and Scruffy Duffy with a kiddies disco, Snow Queens, Ocean FM, face painting and some free Santa hats and foam light sticks.
