The Sligo BID Ltd submits the following proposal in accordance with section 129C of the Local Government (Business Improvement Districts) Act 2006 to the Sligo County Council – the relevant Rating Authority – to establish a Business Improvement District (BID scheme) in the city of Sligo.

As part of the Sligo Night Time Economy Pilot, we are inviting Sligo based youth facilitators, instructors and coaches to undertake free facilitator training to deliver the impactful All Right All Night programme within the Sligo community to those aged 16 – 24 years.Young people regularly witness or experience harm when socialising—but many want the tools to step in safely.All Right, All Night helps them recognise unacceptable behaviour, understand their role as active bystanders, and take action when it’s safe to do so.By becoming a trainer, you’ll help equip young people with these essential skills and play a part in changing the culture around nights out.We welcome expressions of interest from anyone working with young people or young staff, including community leaders and professionals.Interested individuals are invited to submit their Expression of Interest by Friday April 26th to edel@sligobid.ie. ...
