Over the last month you may have seen raffle entry boxes around town giving you the chance to win 12 months of free parking in Sligo. Sligo BID and Sligo County Council are delighted to announce the first winner of the competition, local resident Maureen Moriarty.
Maureen was presented with the prize parking ticket at a presentation ceremony at the Sligo BID offices by Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council Seamus Kilgannon and Chairperson of Sligo BID Finbarr Filan.
The promotion is sponsored to raise awareness of the 4000 parking spaces available in Sligo; public, private and off-street. Sligo BID and Sligo County Council are delighted to confirm that there were over 2000 entries in the first month of the raffle.
Members of the public can enter as many times as they wish each month and entries previously submitted do not carry over.
