The Fleadh Cheoil is the world’s biggest and best traditional Irish music festival and will take place in Sligo between 9th-16th August 2015.
Sligo is located in the north west of Ireland and is famous for its beauty, heritage and culture. We welcome visitors to come and sample each of these during what will be a wonderful celebration of music, fun filled days and family events in August.
Our team of volunteers is busy planning a whole series of events – many of them free – to entertain the many thousands of visitors that will descend on Sligo.
So whether you’re a competitor, a participant in Scoil Éigse, or simply a music fan, come and experience the fun of the Fleadh. And with our beaches, mountains and so many things to do, we hope you’ll want to come back again and again.
