Séamus is one of Ireland’s best known Irish traditional singers. An accomplished and impressive musician, he has been credited with archiving and preserving much of our traditional heritage for generations to come. Séamus was responsible for positive change within and beyond Comhaltas, through his collaborations and his innovative efforts , he has made a lasting impact on the nature of Traditional Irish Music. We are pleased to
acknowledge a lifetime dedicated to the celebration of our unique cultural heritage with this Gala evening of good food, wine and music.
