Deirdre Cooke first established her Sligo practice in 1991. Orginally located in Castle Street, in February 2000, Deirdre Cooke Opticians relocated to Stephen Street, Sligo.

We carry a large range of frames to suit all ages.  As our stock is constantly being updated, we ensure we carry the latest fashion trends from budget to designer. A fantastic selection of the new Spring/Summer range from Lacoste, Brendel, Tom Ford, Carolina Herrera and Storm have just arrived!  The flexibility of being an independent practice means that Deirdre Cooke deals with a wide range of companies and can source specific frames for specific occasions. Our onsite laboratory ensures we can provide a one hour service on many spectacle prescriptions.

We pride ourselves on having the most advanced eyecare technology.  Our high resolution digital camera allows us to photograph the interior of your eye. Photographs can then be compared allowing us to detect minor changes in your eye health.
